SONOGRAPHER / ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN

Healthcare Partners, a busy medical practice in The Villages is looking for a full-time Sonographer or Ultrasound Technician that can assist our providers on diagnosing, treatment and monitoring a variety of conditions and diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ultrasound equipment and exam room following safety protocols
  • Maintain exam room with needed supplies and materials
  • Review the patient’s medical chart prior to their appointment to determine images required
  • Explain procedures to patients, answer their questions, and position the patients on the table
  • Perform sonogram as ordered by the provider and obtain images
  • Print patient orders and tech sheets
  • Complete documentation and post appropriate procedure code/charges
  • Transmit images/studies to radiology facilities

 Qualifications

  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Sonography.
  • An industry certification and state license may be advantageous.
  • Must be able to perform several types of ultrasounds: Echocardiography, Vascular Sonography, Abdominal Sonography, etc.
  • Proficient on using a computer and electronic medical record.
  • Prior experience on working on GE Vivid S5 machine is a plus
  • Strong technical, communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
  • Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Must have advanced attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask and have excellent organizational skills is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Duties include performing massage therapies to soft body tissues to relieve discomfort from related symptoms as well as for wellness maintenance and relaxation.

 Qualifications

  • A current and valid state license for massage therapy
  • Prior experience is required
  • Proficient knowledge of reflexology, different modalities like Swedish, hot stone, trigger
    point, sports, and deep tissue massage, etc
  • Flexibility to adapt in a variety of situations
  • Patient-service oriented

 Qualifications

  • Proven experience in patient service within a wellness or healthcare setting, preferably with colon hydrotherapy or related therapies.
  • Must have a massage therapist license in Florida
  • Strong knowledge of human physiology, particularly the digestive system and anatomy relevant to colon health.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and interpret medical terminology accurately.
  • Familiarity with intake procedures, documentation, and maintaining confidentiality of client information.
  • Excellent communication skills to educate clients effectively and foster a welcoming environment.
  • Basic understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to the gastrointestinal tract is essential.
  • Certification or training in colon hydrotherapy from an accredited program is highly desirable but not mandatory if complemented by relevant experience.

Healthcare Partners Family Medicine, a busy medical practice in The Villages is looking for a Full-time Front desk with outstanding interpersonal skills, patience and professionalism when working with patients, doctors and staff.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as necessary
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls promptly
  • Retrieve phone messages and return messages
  • Assist patients on their inquiries
  • Create new patient packets and register patients into the system
  • Enter patient data into the system including scanning of photo IDs and insurance cards
  • Perform insurance verifications
  • Check-in patients
  • Post charges and record no-shows
  • Process payments which includes collection of copays and balances
  • Maintain a clean patient lobby and restock snacks

 Qualifications

  • Strong Customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service at all times
  • Flexibility to adapt in a variety of situation
  • Must have advanced attention to detail
  • Able to work flexible schedule
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
