SONOGRAPHER / ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN
Healthcare Partners, a busy medical practice in The Villages is looking for a full-time Sonographer or Ultrasound Technician that can assist our providers on diagnosing, treatment and monitoring a variety of conditions and diseases.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ultrasound equipment and exam room following safety protocols
- Maintain exam room with needed supplies and materials
- Review the patient’s medical chart prior to their appointment to determine images required
- Explain procedures to patients, answer their questions, and position the patients on the table
- Perform sonogram as ordered by the provider and obtain images
- Print patient orders and tech sheets
- Complete documentation and post appropriate procedure code/charges
- Transmit images/studies to radiology facilities
 Qualifications
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Sonography.
- An industry certification and state license may be advantageous.
- Must be able to perform several types of ultrasounds: Echocardiography, Vascular Sonography, Abdominal Sonography, etc.
- Proficient on using a computer and electronic medical record.
- Prior experience on working on GE Vivid S5 machine is a plus
- Strong technical, communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
- Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Must have advanced attention to detail.
- Able to multitask and have excellent organizational skills is essential.

NURSE PRACTITIONER
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team here in The Villages. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, a passion for
patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively across diverse medical settings. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary and specialty care, perform
diagnostic evaluations, and develop treatment plans while ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Your role will be instrumental in delivering high-quality
healthcare services to a broad patient population.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and emergency medicine.
- Order, conduct, and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic screenings.
- Analyze test results to diagnose illnesses/injuries and formulate evidence-based treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments to address patient’s current symptoms or risk factors.
- Advise, counsel and educate patients and their families or caregivers on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and chronic condition management.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to efficiently maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols during all patient interactions.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with current certification from an accredited body such as ANCC or AANP.
- Demonstrated experience in critical care environments such as ICU or PICU; hospital medicine; emergency room; or Level I & II trauma centers is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in procedures such as venipuncture, phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques.
- Knowledge of pharmacology related to pain management, psychopharmacology, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine.
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), geriatrics (memory care), individuals with developmental
disabilities or disabilities in general. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching topics like nutrition and family planning while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Functional medicine experience or training is a plus.
- Additional qualifications include experience with telehealth platforms; working within medical-surgical units; performing triage; managing acute pain cases; and familiarity
with ICD-10 coding standards.
